GOVERNOR’S PARTY

Mardi Gras Mask Contest Rules

  1. Bring your best Mardi Gras flair—masks can be purchased, handmade or and comfortable enough to wear safely.
  2. Get ready to wow the crowd! Judges will be looking for creativity, color, sparkle, and lots of Mardi Gras spirit.
  3. Don’t miss your moment to shine—wear your mask to the Gov party and let the good times roll so the judges can make their final selection.

Mardi Gras Costume Contest: Let the Good Looks Roll!

  1. Dress to dazzle: Bring the sparkle, the feathers, the flair, and all the fabulous Mardi Gras energy you can muster.
  2. Give us your best strut: Each contestant gets a moment to pose, twirl, shimmy, or show off their look for the crowd.
  3. Cheers choose the champion: The crowd decides the winner, so clap it up, shout it out, and let the loudest love take the crown!

Second Line Umbrella Decorating Contest

Let the good times roll and bring your brightest Mardi Gras spirit! Join us with your decorative umbrella for a playful contest filled with color, creativity, feathers, beads, and plenty of festive fun. Whether you go bold, sparkly, silly, or elegant, everyone is welcome to show off their one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

Our own Jester DJ Bob will serve as auctioneer, and all proceeds will go to support Metro Centers for Community Advocacy to help provide care and resources for those in need in our community.

Decorate it. Parade it. Celebrate it.
Come join the fun and make a difference!
