Lawperson of the Year

The Lawperson of the Year Award honors a lawperson in the LaMissTenn District (Kiwanian or non-Kiwanian), who in the opinion of the nominating club has exemplified, in an unusual and/or exceptional way, service above and beyond the call of duty.

The winner will be announced in the July issue of the LaMissTenn District Kiwanis News, and at the District Convention, where the award will be presented to a representative of the nominating club. The winner need not attend the District Convention. The club should schedule a time at a regular or special club meeting to present the award to the recipient, inviting family members, personal friends, members of the recipient’s law enforcement agency and local government, and members of the press and local media to participate in the presentation ceremony.
The deadline for nominations is June 1, 2024.
